In honor of the month of Love, I'm starting a new series titled "Things I love". Throughout this series I'll be sharing some of my favorite locations, individuals I find inspiring, and anything else that simply makes me happy. I'm starting with a special location you could say I hold close to my heart...
Welcome to Heart Rock Ranch, California, AKA my families future home. Currently it's just a plot of land with a lot of ideas tied to it, but the time I get to spend here is 100% family time.
And that family time is why I love Heart Rock Ranch.

The following pictures were taken on my iPhone this past weekend! I seriously just got back from this wonderful ranch heaven.
My neighbors Anatolians!I'm absolutely obsessed with these Turkish Livestock protection dogs!
They all stand about 3 feet tall and I'm 5'3, making them about hip high on me. The one in the image below started pushing between my legs and lifting me up! He was literally carrying me around like a pony! It was hilariously insane.
Meet the newborn! He was born at 8pm the night before I met him (and look at all the fur he already has!). His mom's name is America so I suggested Meriwether, as in Meriwether Lewis from the Lewis and Clark expedition.
The sunset Saturday night was stunning, but the clouds that created such a masterpiece brought heavy rains the next day. I had to pack up early and head home, but I managed to take a few relaxing stops along the way.
Check back daily (yes, daily!) for a new person, place or thing that I love!
