This year we celebrated our 6th year anniversary at Disneyland! We got a cheap hotel room walking distance to the park for two nights so we could come and go as we pleased. Having three days to enjoy the park was amazing because we never felt rushed to get to specific rides. We could just go with the flow!
Click read more for the photo diary of our trip! It POURED rain (see the last pic!) Saturday evening and Sunday, which restricted camera use , but also made for an amazing anniversary adventure with my PIC.
On Friday we got to the Park right when the Electrical Parade was starting! Walking in to find the band, a parade, the fireworks etc... is the most magical way to start a Disney trip.
We spent Friday evening roaming around Tomorrow land.
On Saturday we went to the park in three different shifts. Our first visit was midday, and the park was PACKED. We walked around for four hours and only made it onto three rides! We went on King Arthur's Carousel, the Peter Pan ride (S's first time!) and the Swings in California Adventure.
This is usually my favorite Disneyland store... but it's already turned into a Christmas Shop! *gag*
We avoid the crowds at all costs! Disneyland has plenty of hidden walkways and "Pockets" to hide in if you're ever feeling anxious from the crowds.

It was overcast all weekend but Saturday night we had random down pours on and off! The first one hit us right when we were getting on the matterhorn. We were under the que cover when it started pouring, and we were the only ones in line that volunteered to get on the ride.
Personally, rainy Disney days are my favorite because the crowds vanish almost instantly. We ran around the park and made it onto all of our favorite rides in only a few hours! My planned outfit for the ending was drenched (totally worth it) but I'll be wearing it again on the real Bourbon Street in three short weeks!
