One of my favorite trends from the Fall 2015 runway shows has been the "interior" trend. Designers drew inspiration from middle eastern mosaics, oriental tapestries, and wallpaper from the seventies. This seasons patterns look less like "copy and paste"'d repeating rows and more like art from the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" album.
My favorite "interior" themed piece for this fall hails all the way from Australia. The Tokyo Top (pictured below) by Dreamers and Drifters is the perfect piece to transition into fall weather. I'm currently wearing it as a dress with brown suede wedges; but as soon as the weather changes I'll be pairing it with tights and knee high riding boots.
Another favorite brand of mine that's taking on the interior trend is For Love and Lemons. Check out their "Gypsy Dreamer" Fall 2015 collection here.
*All spots on my legs are from a gnarly gang of mosquitos that attacked my dad and I on our last backpacking trip. I'm not diseased for those who were asking on tumblr, and I wear them proudly.
