I'll be blunt. I'm not buying into the saggy crotch silk pants still. I refused when I was in Italy a few years ago (they were EVERYWHERE) and I refuse now that I'm back in California. Silk/scarf pants with a comfortable (but not exaggerated) crotch? Now that is a trend I can get into.
Silk pants that have a waist band that sits perfectly flat (the rest of the pant will be flowy) are perfect for transitioning into fall styles. I paired my Velvet by Graham and Spencer pants with a cute lace crop top I've been sporting all summer. Perfect as a cover-up, a gypsy getup, or even for work (wear something VERY structured up top for work, like a sharp blazer etc.). I also find myself just tossing them on when I'm hanging around my place or wandering around the Marina.
They're easy, comfortable, and an instant outfit upgrade. Adios denim!
