Mikoh has been a swimwear brand I have enjoyed for a few years, but today was their first time putting on a Mercedes-Benz fashion week show, and they did a fantastic job. Models were accompanied by traditional hula dancers, giving the show an upbeat and "native" feel. Crochet details has always been one of the brands go-to styles, but for this collection the Miller sisters added new leather styles and balanced smaller bottoms with longer lined bikini tops and vise versa.
If you haven't heard of the brand before, Mikoh is designed by two sisters, Oleema and Kalani Miller and is based out of California. What I love about the brand? Their suits have some of the most intricate and beautiful back designs I've ever seen on a swimsuit. While some may worry about tan lines, I say go out and get those unique tan lines! Your backless and sheer summer outfits are the perfect way to show off a skin design that isn't permanent!
I didn't see as many back designs as I had hoped for in this show, but you can view the ones I'm talking about on their website here.
Check out some of my favorite pieces from todays show below and then check out their website and the jaw-dropping suits that are already available for purchase here.
