When S and I arrived at Treebones, we were in awe. After driving hours along Highway 1 without wifi, we had driven right past the small sign hidden in the lush brush. We had to wait until the next turn out to pull a U-turn on the curvy highway, and then wait again to turn left against the speeding oncoming traffic. But when we pulled up the long drawn out driveway, everything changed. The Glamping Yurts and "Tree House" can be seen from the Highway. It's a beautiful (you guessed it) treehouse that can only be reached via a string light lit wooden bridge. Huge pines circled around the treehouse and hid it from view as we continued to climb up the driveway in the Jeep. At the very top of the hill was a large wooden platform for group yoga and then the resort itself. S and I were not sleeping in the popular yurts or even in the Tree House though. Nope. We were staying in the Nest. The whimsical atmosphere of the Nest inspired me to wear my new For Love and Lemons body suit: The Karina Bodysuit. The Karina is a sheer suit that features velvet butterfly and sea shell details. With back and hip ties, the body suit is simply stunning on it's own, but paired perfectly with the Olive "Cross My Heart" knit from Dreamers and Drifters. I felt regal yet completely comfortable while wandering around the dense hillside (avoiding all the poison oak as well as I could). We were lucky enough to set up our campsite in time to enjoy the sunset over the pacific. The orange lighting brought my fading pink hair back from the dead, and with so much contrasting green, we just had to take a few shots. Good night for now!
