If you had told me that I would be writing ANYTHING positive about Ambercrombie and Fitch a few years ago, I would have laughed. I seriously can't even believe that I'm writing this since I'm very against everything their CEO Mike Jeffries has ever said or done, but this needs to be shared. Ambercrombie and Fitch have made a collection that features a hue Mr. Jeffries used to ban (along with, you know, sizes for girls he decided weren't good enough to wear his brand).
Yes indeed ladies, A&F has finally created clothing in shades of black and they're all really, really, unfortunately good looking. From boho kimonos and drapey pants to sundresses and quilted black leather jackets, A&F seems to have ditched it's preppy vibes for a more trendy Los Angeles vibe. If only they had ditched their CEO as well…
The main reason I feel the need to share this collection with you all is that although the clothes are all "new in" they are also already being sold at discounted prices. The pieces in the collection are on point already but will also be sure to carry you into Autumn or further depending on where you live. Also, black clothes. Need I say more?
Here are some of the items from the new collection. Click through them and try to decide if they're cute enough to purchase despite the CEO being a total jerk who "is, like, totally against the rules of feminism". If you decide that ignorance is bliss, the collection can be shopped here.
I slightly dislike myself for sharing this with you all, so this might get taken down. Enjoy the pretty black clothes for now.
