This October heat used to be more of a joke. We were all taking "October Summer" bikini pics. We giggled at the thought of boots and sweaters (Yeah, they look cute... but it's 90 degrees) and we were amused at the idea of visiting pumpkin patches in denim cutoffs.
By this point, the joke has gotten old. The magic of tanning before going to hockey games has worn off. We've had our share of Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte's, and we're ready for the warm version. I want fall fashion. I want fuzzy blankets and warm coffee. I want Fall.
Unfortunately, it's the end of October and we're still hitting 90 degrees. I've been coping with some summer cuts in fall colors. Take this tank top. It's perfectly flowy yet cropped and has a delicate ribbed texture. The orange and off white coloring merges the summer top into a fall color pallet effortlessly. Pair a fall colored tank with layers of black and gold and you've got the perfect "transitional" outfit.
I've paired my tank with my favorite new pants by Dreamers and Drifters. The pants are lightweight and feature delicate lace designs with perfect pleats (extremely flattering). Dreamers and Drifters is based out of Australia but will be sold in the United States soon. Until then, check out the website here.
Complete your transitional outfit with gold hued jewelry. I've been a silver/white gold loving girl for years now, but this season I've been drawn to gold to help add fall colors to each outfit.
